Description
Vertex AdBlue® is an extremely pure solution, especially developed for the diesel engines with a SCR system. Vertex AdBlue® mainly consists of water and urea. It is injected into exhaust gas to reduce harmful NOx emissions and meet the Euro5 and Euro6 emission standards. Available in 5L, 20L and 1000L.
Vertex AdBlue® is manufactured to the highest industry standards :
- Vertex AdBlue® is a solution of urea in demineralized water.
- Vertex AdBlue® is produced according to ISO standards. This ensures the highest quality of product.
- Vertex AdBlue® contains approximately 32.5% urea. It is also known as AUS 32 ((NH2)2CO.
How does Vertex AdBlue® work:
- Vertex AdBlue® reduces harmful emissions through a chemical reaction. This chemical reaction occurs when Vertex AdBlue® is injected into exhaust gas inside the catalyst of the diesel engine. Untreated exhaust gasses contain nitrogen oxides (NOx) which are a major air pollutant. Vertex Global AdBlue® is especially used to reduce emission of this pollutant.
The shelf life of Vertex AdBlue® is directly related to the ambient storage temperature. Vertex Global AdBlue® will degrade over time depending on temperature and exposure to sun light. If stored above 33 deg C, shelf life will easily be one year. However, if the maximum temperature does not exceed approximately 24 deg C for an extended period of time, the shelf life will be two years.
